LSH Industrial and Logistics Team Secures Second Off-Market Site for Panattoni in a Month, Enabling circa 1.25m Sq Ft of New Development

The Industrial & Logistics team at LSH has successfully completed a second off-market acquisition for Panattoni UK, Europe’s largest logistics developer, within just one month.

Following the recent acquisition of a site in Towcester, Northamptonshire, LSH has now advised on the purchase of a second site in Southampton, Hampshire - both in core markets and benefit from having a planning consent to enable Panattoni to get on site and start the development. 

The site in Southampton amounted to a gross area of 14.90 acres located close to the M27 and the Docks with planning to develop 220,000 sqft over five units ranging from 20,900 sqft to 95,640 sqft.  This follows the purchase of the site in Towcester located just off the A5 and amounts to gross site area of 79.22 acres with planning consent for close to 1m sqft across 3 units of 223,269 sqft, 361,724 sqft and 412,073 sqf.

“We have been working on both sites for a considerable amount of time with the team at Panattoni and their funding partners providing both occupational and investment advice to support the acquisitions and are delighted to secure them off market and we are excited to be involved in the letting of both schemes.  This is the third site we have acquired this year for Panattoni UK having already acquired 12 acres in Bognor Regis for 203,000 sqft early in the year”
