Planet Mark is an internationally recognised sustainability certification acknowledging continuous progress, encouraging action, and building an empowered community of like-minded individuals.

The partnership will see Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) join Planet Mark’s ZeroBy30 programme in order to establish a pathway to net zero by 2030, and comes following the launch of our new Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG Policy) earlier this month.

Amidst the enormous difficulties faced by businesses this past year, industry has shown time and again, its remarkable ability to adapt. As we start to emerge from the pandemic further, it is crucial that we seize the opportunity to further this impetus when it comes to climate change and sustainability.

LSH’s ESG policy sets out our goals, commitments and ambitions across the business, from the way we manage our operations, how we work with suppliers, and crucially, how we deliver for clients. We’re aiming high, and we’re calling upon all staff across the business to help.

Frankie Bryon, Head of Sustainability at Lambert Smith Hampton, commented:

“This is a really exciting and necessary step for LSH. We have been advising clients on how to improve the sustainability of their properties for a number of years, and we are now committing to improving the sustainability of our own operations in a very measurable and transparent fashion. Placing LSH staff at the centre of this process shows our commitment to embedding cultural change in a way that will ensure that sustainability is fully integrated in our day to day work.”

“Our partnership with Planet Mark provides a really exciting platform from which to push forward with our plans. We will be working together to set out our net zero pathway and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.

“While we have made great strides, we have a responsibility as a business to do more. The partnership is a way to continually challenge ourselves, and work transparently with the whole business as we take collective responsibility in making real change. We are committed to delivering on ambitious targets and will be relentless in our mission to achieve them – for our business, and for our clients. This isn’t just a net zero strategy, this is a new way of practice.”

CEO and Founder of Planet Mark, Steve Malkin, added:

“We’re delighted to have LSH join the Planet Mark community. It is inspiring to see their commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability through establishing a pathway to net zero by 2030. We look forward to supporting them in this movement for change.”
