Beating Alder King and JLL, LSH scooped the award for its purchase of Babcock’s office at Bristol Business Park, which was the largest square foot deal in the South West for 2017 at 85,790 sq ft.   The judging panel, made up of industry experts, noted in particular the ‘scale and complexity’ of the deal, and its significant impact on the region as a whole.    

LSH South West’s disposal of the former Avon Fire HQ in Bristol was also shortlisted in the Property Deal of the Year category, while the team also clinched a shortlist place for Office Agency Team of the Year.

During the ceremony at Bristol's Marriott City Centre Hotel, which was compèred by Mark Watson, South West Business Insider editor David Clensy, said: "There may still plenty of challenges out there for the property sector, but in the region as a whole we’ve seen healthy activity on major office and industrial buildings, mixed use schemes, and a host of impressive refurbishments. Significant property deals have also been done, giving occupiers bigger and better accommodation and releasing important sites for future development."
