Acting on behalf of UK Strategic Partnership Ltd, a joint venture between Harworth Estates and Strategic Sites, we have completed the largest letting at Advanced Manufacturing Park’s (AMP) Evolution phase, to Sarclad Limited, a provider of technology products for the metals industry.

Boost to local economy

Sarclad’s relocation to 13,597 sq ft of office space will help boost the local economy and create additional employment opportunities. Over the last 30 years the company has grown and now supplies quality equipment to all of the leading steel manufacturers and suppliers across 46 different countries.

Robert Whatmuff, Director and regional head of Industrial and Logistics at LSH, said: “Sarclad is an expanding, forward thinking company, so we’re delighted that they are taking up residence in South Yorkshire. They will bring a welcome boost to our local economy.”

Relocation part of tenants’ growth plans

Located on the Rotherham-Sheffield border, the AMP is being developed to create a world class business and manufacturing centre. It is already home to house-hold technology companies including Rolls Royce; Castings Technology International, Boeing and Dormer Tools.

AMP part of Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone

The site is also included within the Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone and has a further 84 acres of land available.
