Having spent the preceding seven years buying higher yielding industrial investment properties, our client, Helical plc made the decision to divest from the sector entirely. We advised on a strategy to sell all their industrial assets in a single transaction to target the prevailing strong demand from portfolio buyers.

A portfolio of 20 properties, predominantly located in the South and the Midlands, benefitting from attractive income credentials was marketed. We used a campaign reliant upon personal presentations to a target group of investors that were known to be capable of undertaking this scale of transaction quickly. The portfolio was sold at 10% in excess of the quote price, at £150m.
