Ed Forrester has been appointed Associate Director at LSH in Birmingham where he will work alongside Industrial Agency Director Alex Carr and Graduate Surveyor Gemma Butler.

Originally from Worcester, Ed spent three years at King Sturge in Cardiff working in industrial agency and a subsequent 12 months at their affiliate office PRP in Sydney, Australia, working on a mixed-use portfolio owned by the Australian Government.

Ed has recently sold a business he established in 2012 supplying energy audits for commercial properties throughout the UK, where he developed business relationships with national property consultancies, pension funds, solicitors and owner-occupiers.  

Ed, who has a degree in law and politics, said: “I’ve enjoyed the challenge of establishing a successful business but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to join Alex and the team at Lambert Smith Hampton.

“I’ve got extensive experience in disposal and acquisition having been heavily involved in the disposal of a three hundred and fifty thousand sq ft former Sony manufacturing facility on behalf of MGPA in Bridgend. This is an exciting time to join the LSH team and I am looking forward to progressing in the next phase of my career.”

Alex said: “Ed has demonstrated that he is a highly competent negotiator and is very comfortable in a client-facing role. He has also shown great enterprise in establishing a successful business. With his experience and can-do attitude he is a welcome addition to our growing industrial offer in the West Midlands.”
