The pinnacle of the UK’s property events calendar, the Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) Ski Challenge 2014, will commence on Thursday 30 January, hosting excellent networking opportunities and culminating in a ski and snowboarding race day.

One of the highlights of the event is the exclusive invite-only Business Forum, which brings together leaders from across the industry to discuss key issues affecting the property market.

One of the largest real estate investors in Europe

This year, Martin Moore will be speaking about his experience as chairman of M&G Real Estate, which he grew into one of the largest real estate investors in Europe, with over £16bn of property under management.

Martin will also talk about his latest venture with one of the world’s largest private equity firms, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts Real Estate (KKR). At a time when US firms like KKR are increasing their investment activity in the UK and Europe, Martin’s role as Senior Advisor will bolster its investment team as it looks to expand its property business.

Landmark developments transformed London skyline

Joining Martin will be David Camp, Chief Executive of Stanhope plc. Under David’s leadership, Stanhope has transformed the London skyline through landmark developments such as Tate Modern, Broadgate, the Royal Opera House and most recently the £200m purchase of the BBC’s Television Centre.

Panel to face more than 100 property professionals

LSH’s CEO, Ezra Nahome, will join the panel debate concluding the Business Forum to face questions from an audience of more than 100 property professionals. Ezra is the driving force behind some of the country’s highest profile projects and has advised on deals with a value in excess of £4bn over the past five years. The debate will be chaired by Damian Wild, Editor of Estates Gazette, ensuring all the challenging questions are put to the panel of speakers.

Ezra said: "The Ski Challenge is the longest running event in our industry and remains a fixture for those focussed on networking and competitive skiing. Our event in 2014 will be more significant than ever with market recovery making it an exciting year for industry leaders focused on business generation."
