Maidenhead office scheme relaunched

Find out more

Following its recent purchase of a number of properties from the administrators for Kenmore, Commercial Estates Group (CEG) has re-launched one of the largest office properties in its portfolio.

The former Prospect Park in Hurley, near Maidenhead, has been re-branded as Horizon, providing 82,555 sq ft of brand new offices in 11 acres of landscaped grounds. We have been appointed to jointly market the space to occupiers.

Targeting corporate occupiers

Cliff Jackson, Director in our Maidenhead office, commented: “One of the scheme’s major selling points is its large floor plates, which equate to approximately 28,000 sq ft. Improving internal communication and team collaboration is a universal pressure for businesses, and one of the simplest and yet often overlooked solutions are these large floor plates. What Horizon is able to offer is greater design flexibility so that teams – and their communication – aren’t split over multiple floors.”

Kevin Hawthorn, Partner at joint agent, Hanover Green, added: “Behind the re-brand strategy is the location of the building; its self-contained base within a natural environment, and its 360 degree countryside views, set it apart from other office schemes and business parks in the region.”

High specification and security

Over the coming months, LSH and Hanover Green will implement a marketing campaign that will target large occupiers in the Thames Valley, and those looking to relocate to the region. The campaign will focus on occupiers demanding a high specification working environment with high levels of security. This will include the pharmaceutical and technology/media/telecoms sectors – both prevalent and active industries in the region.

CEG is offering the accommodation in part floors from 11,000 sq ft, whole floors, or the entire building, and intends to provide flexible lease terms and bespoke packages for occupiers.
