New occupiers for Reading's Suttons Business Park

Find out more

Acting for Standard Life Investments, we have completed three transactions at Suttons Business Park in Reading.

Unit 20 has been let to Access IS, the UK's largest independent computer keyboard manufacturer. The company is taking the 4,600 sq ft of additional space to support its business expansion on Suttons Business Park, where it also occupies two further units.

DediPower and Hewlett Packard also sign

Elsewhere, technology firm DediPower has taken a lease on its second unit on the park. The managed hosting provider will now also occupy unit 50, which totals 9,000 sq ft, on a new 10-year lease. The company’s expansion on the estate has led to its lease at unit 53 being re-geared so that it is also aligned to a 10-year term.

Finally, Hewlett Packard has renewed its lease on a 50,000 sq ft data centre, signing a new five year agreement.

Infrastructure and management key differentiators

Philip Hunter, Associate Director in our Reading office, commented: "These three transactions demonstrate continued investment in this location, and such business expansion is very positive news for the area given the economic climate.”

He added: “Reading and the wider Thames Valley has much to offer technology companies due to its skilled workforce, and the local economy relies on these types of businesses locating in this area. The strength of Suttons Business Park in terms of its infrastructure and management will ensure that this continues to be the case."
