Private treaty negotiations
Via private treaty, our experts negotiate on a one-to-one basis with interested parties acquired via targeted marketing to achieve optimum realisations.
Private treaty negotiations are typically suited to more bespoke assets, items of high value, or where the market interest is reduced and longer lead times are needed for marketing. Alternatively, this method also suits large quantities of stocks where best value will be realised as a whole, or for smaller packets of assets in cases where an online auction would not be cost effective.
The need for private treaty negotiations may also arise when it is more convenient to the client to keep the number of purchasers to a minimum for dismantling and collection co-ordination.

Tender sale
A hybrid of auction and private treaty, this method, used less frequently, entails interested parties submitting a best and final offer without knowing what other interested parties have offered, by a specific deadline.
Suitable for sales of business assets as a whole, large quantities of stock or sales with a smaller number of lots, specialised assets with a reduced market demand or where there may be sensitivities around the sale of the assets thus requiring a less public sale is it also offers the client more flexibility over the acceptance of bids.
