Acting on behalf of Capita Land Plc, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has secured two new leases at Reynolds House in Hulme, Manchester.

Data centre operators Equinix UK and IoMart have taken 15,000 sq ft of space collectively, representing an annual rental income in excess of £1m pa. Other occupiers include The University of Manchester, which occupies part of the building as a district hub.

The 20,000 sq ft building is a triple-net powered bespoke data centre located 13 km from Manchester International Airport and 290 km north-west of London.

Andrew Stride, director at LSH, said: “The ongoing digital revolution taking place across every aspect of daily life is fuelling continued demand for data storage. Facilities such as Reynolds House are now an essential part of national infrastructure and continue to be in high demand from both occupiers and investors.”

Reynolds House is a composite Data Centre situated strategically close to the main fibre optic national link and benefits from onsite redundancy in the form of a self-contained uninterrupted power source and a secondary on site energy generation centre.
