Are you a student looking to pursue a career in the commercial property industry? We offer a number of schemes to help you get the experience you need.
Placement year programme
We offer a placement year programme for university students who are looking to complete a year in the property industry as part of their degree or other higher education course.
We accept applications from students pursuing either of the following APC career pathways:
- Commercial Property Practice
- Building Surveying
- Construction Project Management
- Quantity Surveying
- Planning and Development
To qualify for our placement year programme you will be in the second year of a RICS-accredited degree course.

Work experience
Lambert Smith Hampton is committed to offering work experience opportunities to students aged 16 and over who are looking to pursue a career in the property industry, or who want to find out more about what it’s like to be a Chartered Surveyor.
