Stephen is a Director in Lambert Smith Hampton’s (LSH) Transport Consultancy Department based in London, where he has worked since April 1998.
He joined LSH from Rail Property Ltd in 1998 after graduating from South Bank University with a First Class Building Surveying Honours Degree in 1997. Stephen promptly achieved APC qualification in 1999 and soon afterwards became an Associate Director in 2001, before being promoted to Director in 2004.
Stephen said, “LSH is a company that is focused on people as their key asset, as a result the training and support received has helped me to develop as a property professional.”
He now has almost 10 years experience in the Building Surveying/Project Management sector. This has meant his role at LSH has evolved considerably over recent years with emphasis not only on successful completion of projects but also key client account management and business development.
Stephen concludes, “LSH has provided me with the support, tools and freedom to develop my skills over the last 8 years. There is a strong team approach which enables individuals and departments to grow. I have been part of a team that has grown significantly during my time at LSH, which has been both challenging and enjoyable.”
Whilst at LSH Stephen has managed transport related capital project works for a number of Train Operating Companies and developed strong relationships with national clients such as National Express Group.
