Andrew Hughes

Andrew Hughes joined Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) just over five years ago, bringing to LSH his 14 years of experience in the profession. He is now not only the Director and Head of the Professional department in the Wales office but also the regional representative for the western region on the Professional Division Panel.

Andrew graduated from the University of Wales in 1992 with an Honors degree in Urban Estate Management and only one year later he was admitted as a member of RICS.  Following this he worked for a multi disciplined practice in Swansea, leaving to establish his own Swansea practice. 

In 2001, Andrew joined LSH to take on the challenge of establishing the Professional department of the then, recently opened Cardiff office.  Andrew explained: “Joining an LSH fledgling office back in 2001, to establish a professional department, provided an enormous challenge, being one of four fee earners at the time.  The office has grown beyond recognition since then, with over 20 fee earners across two office bases in Wales.  Helping the office grow has proved hugely rewarding, as has been my work on the Professional Division Panel.  The challenge now, is to seek further opportunities for growth, through both additional specialist service offerings and expansion of our existing client base."
