Graduate profile - Jessica Simpson

Jessica joined Lambert Smith Hampton’s Leeds office in July 2006 during her university sandwich year and was placed in the Transport Consultancy department.

The work she is involved in includes asset management of railway stations, valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals and agency work for various property types including retail, office, industrial and land.

Jessica said: "The varied case work and hands-on experience I received provided an excellent start to my APC and helped me to develop my skills and knowledge quickly. Having regular client contact has allowed me to build firm working relationships."

Having completed her 12 months placement, Jessica was asked to remain at LSH throughout her final year at university. During the semester she worked two days a week in the office and full time in the holidays which was a great help for final year projects and exams.

Jessica returned to LSH full-time after graduating with first class honours.  

Jessica commented: "The LSH structured training scheme has provided me with excellent training, support and experience. Everyone is easy to talk to and always happy to take time out to explain any subjects they specialise in. LSH has also funded any external training I have requested together with arranging regular in-house training seminars."
