LSH markets high profile trade park development in Aberdare

LSH markets high profile trade park development in Aberdare

On behalf of Richard Hayward Properties, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), alongside joint agent Cooke & Arkwright, has been instructed to market C1 Trade Park, a high profile development within Aberaman Park Industrial Estate in Aberdare.

The development comprises a terrace of five prominent new trade counter units ranging upwards from 3,056 sq ft, and three warehouse/industrial units from 14,305 sq ft.  In total 67,280 sq ft of accommodation is available plus additional land of up to two acres for potential design and build opportunities.

The trade park forms part of the Aberaman Park Industrial Estate, located south of Aberdare and around 25 miles north west of Cardiff.  The estate has a number of high profile occupiers located within its business and retail units such as The Royal Opera House, Focus DIY, Royal Mail, and is situated opposite Aberdare Retail Park which includes occupiers Asda and Halfords.

Richard Hayward Properties  has also instructed joint agents LSH and Cooke & Arkwright to let units 29 and 30, Aberaman Park Industrial Estate.  The units, offering in total over 10,000 sq ft of internal accommodation, are available as one or separately, by way of a new lease of three and five year multiples.

Owen Griffiths, of LSH’s Industrial Agency in Wales, commented: “We are pleased to have been appointed on this scheme which is popular with both national and local traders alike.  The C1 Trade Park development, which has trade counter consent, is in an excellent location in an established industrial and commercial area, our aim is to attract a good mix of high quality national and local occupiers to the scheme.”

Jeremy Symons, of Cooke & Arkwright, added: “We are finding that occupier demand is still strong in South Wales and expect to see this continuing in the second half of the year.  The C1 Trade Park and units 29 and 30 have already generated some interest due to their excellent access links and prominent positioning on this already well established industrial park.  “Having completed three further lettings at Aberaman Park Industrial Estate in the past six months, we expect to see continued demand and success on the site.”
