Benson Elliot appoints Lambert Smith Hampton as managing agent on The Quedam Centre, Yeovil

The Centre comprises a single-level scheme of 45 retail units, four high street shops and a three-level multi-storey car park with 650 spaces, all within a 7.4-acre town centre site.

The Quedam Centre is the leading shopping destination in an extensive cross county catchment area in the south-west of England and benefits from a retail line up of high street brands including H&M, Topshop, JD Sports, Monsoon, Pandora, River Island, New Look and HMV.

The scheme recently benefited from an extensive reconfiguration and re-tenanting project, which included a new H&M, JD Sports and the remodelling of Topshop/Topman and Vodafone stores.

LSH director of property management, Neil Workman, said: “We are excited to receive our second management instruction from Benson Elliot, a leading independent pan European private equity real estate fund manager.

“It is a fantastic addition to our portfolio and we look forward to adding more value for customers as we further develop the offering of one of the key shopping destinations in the south west of England.”

Jonathan Ratnage, Investment Manager at Benson Elliot, said: “The Quedam Centre has a robust retail brand line-up and an extensive and prosperous catchment area and we look forward to working with LSH to support us in our delivery of the asset management strategy”. Benson Elliot invests in key markets across Europe including the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The firm closed its fourth oversubscribed fund in 2016 with €625 million in commitments.
