The event, organised to raise money for the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and the St Barnabas Hospice, attracted several hundred spectators to Lincoln’s Brayford Waterfront for an afternoon of Dragon Boat racing. Eight local teams, including Lambert Smith Hampton, took part in the event which organisers will now hope will become an annual occurrence following this year’s success.
The LSH Crusaders got off to a slow start but soon found their form and made it to the semi-finals stage, missing out on the final by less than a second. At the end of the day the Crusaders were awarded fourth place but with the team hungering for success, they will no doubt be back next year to battle for Dragon Boat glory! A great day attended by LSH staff either taking part in the event or coming over to cheer on colleagues
